"Getting Daycare Centers Moving"
The RoKoKids daycare centers aim to develop into healthy, high-quality daycare centers in a systematic and long-term manner. For this reason, we are participating in the state program, which supports us in this process through facilitator training, professional development opportunities, and financial resources.
The state program supports our daycare center as it continues on its positive, healthy path
It fosters the necessary awareness among educators, parents, and school districts regarding a holistic understanding of health and education.
It follows a six-step organizational cycle. This cycle forms the basis for systematically and continuously improving the quality of the daycare center.
It provides an assessment that is recognized as an internal evaluation of Berlin’s educational program: This allows daycare centers to know exactly what level of quality they currently offer in terms of education and health.
District coordinators are available to serve as points of contact.
Throughout this exciting process, the daycare center and its operating organization receive active and professional support from the state program’s partners in the form of guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing on topics related to health and education.
